About The Artist

Tea Laroux is a fine art conceptual photographer based in Charleston, South Carolina. Her interest in art began at a very young age, when she received her first camera. She was very experimental in her approach early on, exploring the different forms of photography. Her passion for photography grew when she received her first dSLR camera. She gravitated toward conceptual photography around this time and eventually developed a unique personal style. Tea uses her art to convey feelings that can only be expressed visually. She draws inspiration from many things, such as books, movies, fairytales and nature.

Tea was co-editor for the award-winning Ocean Springs High School (Mississippi) yearbook staff in 2013-2014. In this role, she gained valuable experience in Photoshop and shooting on location in different weather conditions and lighting. She also earned the Mississippi Scholastic Press Association’s candid photography award in 2014. In 2015, Tea became a represented artist with the Atelier Gallery in Charleston, South Carolina. This is where seven of her pieces are available in limited edition sizes.
